i'm a typical twentysomething trying to find out who the hell i am and also trying to grow up faster than i should, all the while bitching about the oppressive weight of the responsibilities i've already taken on. i'm married to a man who's seen me at my worst and loves me anyway, a man who makes me laugh every day. we have a dog named stevie and a cat named cat and we spend the better part of our leisure time cuddling on the couch. i have amazing friends. i've somehow convinced them that i'm interesting and lovable, and frequently worry that i'm not really all that interesting OR lovable and that i'll soon be found out. i have constant escape fantasies, and the only time i really feel relaxed is when i'm on vacation - even if it's only a weekend away. i'm a nursing student and i hate going to school; to be honest, i feel tired most of the time. i hope i always stop on a sunny day, take a look at the world around me, and feel amazed and humbled. i hope someday i will FINALLY get enough sleep to not feel tired during the day. i hope to leave this life someday knowing that i left something beautiful behind. life isn't perfect, but it's good, and i have infinite amounts of hope. and that's what's important.
